Kids' shoe size chart: US, EU, UK, China, Japan

Baby, toddler (C) and youth (Y) shoe sizes in US, EU, UK, China and Japan, with the foot length in centimeters – and how to measure a child's foot.

Quick answer

A toddler US 10C is EU 27, UK 9.5 and Japan 16.5, for a foot of 16.3–16.8 cm.

US kids' sizes come in two series: toddler sizes marked C (from 1C to 13.5C) and youth sizes marked Y, which start again at 1Y. UK sizes also restart after 13.5, so always check whether a size is a toddler or a youth size.

Children's feet grow quickly – measure every few months, and leave about 1 cm of growing room in front of the longest toe.
