Upright meaning
The High Priestess stands for intuition, hidden knowledge and the wisdom found in silence. She suggests that the answer lies beneath the surface and is reached through reflection rather than action. Dreams, inner voice and patience are her guides.
Reversed meaning
Reversed, she points to ignoring one's intuition, confusion or surface thinking. It can also indicate secrets, information being withheld, or a need to withdraw and listen more closely to oneself.
What the card shows
A priestess sits between a black pillar marked B and a white pillar marked J, holding a scroll marked TORA. A crescent moon lies at her feet, and a veil decorated with pomegranates hangs behind her.
As your card of the day
The answer you are looking for is quieter than the noise around you. Slow down and listen to your inner voice. Not everything needs to be said out loud today.
